Cookies.

UK cookie rules cover cookies and similar storage, including the browser storage this site uses. There is no advertising cookie and no analytics cookie.

Stored by this site

• A Wix session token, kept in this browser’s local storage under a key beginning wix-session-. It is there so the login survives a refresh. Logging out ends that session.
• The address of the last Fusion 360 lesson you opened, under the key thg-fusion-lesson. It is there so the course can offer to continue. It is not sent to me as a separate record.

Both of these are part of the account and the course you asked to open. I do not use them to advertise.

A film player loads from YouTube. YouTube may set its own cookies when that player loads. Google explains them at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

Google reCAPTCHA loads only when you open “Create an account”, to check that a person is signing up. Google may set its own cookies for that check. It is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Joining Discord, paying with PayPal, or following a partner shop link leaves this site, and those sites use their own cookies.

How to refuse them

You can clear this site’s data in your browser settings, and you can block third-party cookies. Blocking them can stop the YouTube player or the login from working. There is no optional cookie to switch off on this site, so there is no cookie banner.
